All Skill Levels Too
At Bold Music, we welcome students at every skill level. We have some students who start knowing nothing about pianos. Others are seasoned performers. Either way, we can help you improve your skills.
We will teach you the foundation of piano playing, starting with the basics, including simple songs, chords, scales, and note reading. Training this way ensures that you have the necessary skills to advance and play harder pieces.
For our advanced students, we work on tips and tricks to polish their performance. Our instructors will teach you harder songs and help you to perfect your skills.
Whatever skill level you start at, we are here to tailor your piano lessons to your individual interests. Songs come in a variety of genres, so why not learn the ones that interest you most? When you're engaged and passionate about what you're learning, you will enjoy the lessons more. You'll also learn better. Here at Bold Music, we believe that this is very important.
Practice is an Expectation
Here's the hard truth. If you don't practice, you will never get better at playing the piano. As great as our instructors are, their lessons will never sink in if you don't practice them. Playing the piano involves a good deal of muscle memory. With enough practice, you won't have to stop and think about where your hands should go.
The same holds for learning note reading. The more you sit down and do it, the better you will be at it. Practice will also improve your timing. There's simply no part of your piano playing that won't get better with practice.
As you practice, make sure that you jot down notes to ask your instructor. Our teachers are here to tailor your lessons to your interests. And they will work with you on anything that you're struggling with. The more you communicate with us, the better we can customize your lessons.
