Practice Makes Perfect!
The best way to become a better percussionist is to practice. We recommend that you practice the drums for at least 20 minutes a day. But with that said, we will never require you to practice. We understand if you have a miss a week.
It's important to remember though that practice is the key to improving. You will get a lot more out of your lessons if you practice in between. Playing the drums involves your entire body. You use everything from your brain to your bones. By practicing, you are training your body to put all of the components together.
The more that you practice, the more muscle memory and automatic reactions you will build. That means that you will be a better percussionist. The bottom line is, practice makes perfect!
