Melissa Miller picked up her first guitar when she was just 10 years old. She grew up in Winston-Salem, NC but currently resides in Charlotte, NC. What drew Melissa into the Charlotte area was obtaining her B.S.B.A. degree in Finance at UNC-Charlotte. Upon graduation, her and her husband, Alex, along with their goldendoodle, Moose, have chosen Mint Hill as their permanent residence. In her spare time, Melissa likes to visit dog parks with Moose, travel with her husband, and of course pick up one of her many guitars for a quick jam session.
She is currently working towards her Guitar Skills Professional Certificate at the Berklee College of Music Online. She has been playing for 21 years and is well versed in acoustic as well as electric guitar. Melissa’s favorite genres of music are classic rock and pop. Since 2016, Melissa has taught virtual and in-home guitar lessons. She teaches students of all ages how to strum, pick, fingerpick, and learn their favorite songs. Currently, she collaborates with upcoming artists and bands in the studio to implement instrumental solos in their recordings. Melissa is ready to make your interest in guitar your passion, as it is hers.
