Hi Folks-

What a summer it was for Bold Music students! Apart from numerous gigs at the Davidson Farmers Market and the Atherton Mill and Market, we also held our first ever Studio Recording and Songwriting camp at Charles Holloman Productions in South End.

Participants in the camp were immediately immersed in all facets of the studio experience, and came out of it with some truly amazing work! Days 1 and 2 of the 5-day camp were devoted to recording a cover song (“The Thrill is Gone” by B.B. King), while the remaining 3 days were spend writing, arranging, recording and producing a completely original tune! “Remember You,” our participants’ original creation, can be seen/heard here. Accompanying the song is a compilation of video clips taken throughout the week.

Additionally, participants were given the opportunity to record sample voice overs (Automated Dialogue Replacement, or ADR) for an independent film and learn about commercial production.

We couldn’t be happier with our amazing participants, and we look forward to an extended schedule of camp offering for the summer of 2015. Give us a call today to reserve your spot for next summer!
