Meet Tommy Flanagan!
I have been playing guitar since I was 14 and I am passionate about teaching all the lessons I wish I had learned earlier. I have been playing live and recording my own music since 2014. I play anything from pop/rock to fingerstyle folk, and even some punk, and have an educational background in jazz and theory.
Why I Became A Musician
I had always felt drawn towards music and I loved melodic tunes since I was very young, but the first time I watched live videos of The Beatles was the day I fully got into guitar.
My Memorable Musical Experience
The first time an entire venue was singing along to the chorus of one of my songs was surreal and a feeling I'll always remember.
A fun fact about me is...
I'm ambidextrous!
My advice to someone starting to learn music is...
Don't overcomplicate it! Getting to where you want music is so attainable with practice and passion.
