Lisa Weber

Lisa Marie Weber is a multi-instrumentalist teacher who specializes in piano, voice, and guitar. Lisa began her interest in music at the age of five dabbling on a keyboard. Being self-taught on keyboard until the age of ten, she then learned a few basics on piano from a family friend. In middle school, she began clarinet, and started playing and taking guitar lessons throughout high school. After high school, Lisa performed on the bass clarinet with the Pfeiffer University Wind Symphony.

About seven years later, Lisa joined a local church choir and later began performing for church services, productions and bands as a soprano, bass guitarist and keyboardist. When members of the congregation began asking her for guitar lessons, Lisa started teaching and soon enrolled in the Music Program at Central Piedmont Community College. There she specialized in classical piano, and also studied voice, guitar, composition, and audio engineering. Lisa earned her Associate of Fine Arts Degree in Music, and also holds an Associate Membership with the Charlotte Piano Teacher’s Forum.

Lisa has spent most of her life obtaining and sharing her education in music. Lisa has worked, taught, and performed with various individuals, ensembles and organizations for over a decade in and around the Charlotte area. She is currently teaching, composing and continuing her education. Lisa’s main interest now is to assist others in developing their own talents and passion for music. When she is not teaching, Lisa enjoys traveling, cooking, spending time with family and friends, composing in Studio One, and going on adventures with her Great Pyrenees Izzy!
