The wait is over, Summer is upon us! What better time than now to take a look at the awesome shows that will be stopping in Charlotte? Below is a list of the top 12 shows we at Bold Music think everyone should try and make it out to. The list is in no particular order, because they will all be AWESOME! Check it out.

1. Zac Brown Band
• June 12th, Verizon Wireless Ampitheatre
• One of the greatest country bands ever! Their musicianship is unrivaled within the country genre, and they put on a heck of a show.
2. Jack White
• June 5th, The Fillmore
• A true rocker, the male half of The White Stripes won’t disappoint.
3. Boston
• June 10th, Time Warner Cable Arena
• One of the top power bands in the late 70s and 80s are still at it. Check them out!
4. Elton John
• June 14th, Verizon Wireless Ampitheatre
• Piano students: we better see you at Verizon!
5. Tommy Emmanuel
• June 23rd, Mcglohon Theatre
• You might not know this name, but you should. One of the most virtuosic guitarists ever to play the instrument. He will blow you away wit his incredible skill and amazing music. You’ll think you are listening to a band, but it’s just one guitar!
6. Lynyrd Skynyrd
• July 16th, Verizon Wireless Ampitheatre
• “FREEEEEEBIRRRDD!” Hear it live, from the guys who wrote it!
7. O.A.R.
• July 16th, Time Warner Cable Arena
• A talented band that gained fame in the late 90s, but they are far from a 90s band. Great music that has flown somewhat under the radar for you millenials.
8. Dave Matthews Band
• July 22nd, Verizon Wireless Ampitheatre
• I’ve been to three DMB shows, and I’m not even a huge fan of the band. Why? Because they put on a live show like nobody else.
9. Rascal Flatts
• July 26th, Verizon Wireless Ampitheatre
• Talented, musical and original. Everyone should get a chance to hear these guys do their thing live.
10. Umphreys McGee
• July 31st, The Fillmore
• A progressive rock band from Indiana that never plays a song the same way twice! Masterful improvisers that rock the house!
11. Allman Brothers
• August 31st, Verizon Wireless Ampitheatre
• Come on, no description necessary.
12. James Taylor
• August 3rd, Verizon Wireless Ampitheatre
• Again, no description necessary. Be there or be square.
