Lessons and Benefits
Lessons through Bold Music are provided through our membership program. Members are billed a flat monthly fee on the 5th of each month. Members are entitled to a weekly lesson at a mutually agreed upon time between them and their instructor. Additional a la carte lessons may be scheduled directly with your instructor for an added fee.

Cancellations
Student Cancellations
To cancel or reschedule a lesson, students/parents must reach out directly to their instructor via phone call or text message. Any lesson canceled by the student with 24+ hours notice is eligible for a virtual makeup lesson. This virtual makeup lesson should be scheduled directly with your instructor. While it is the student/family’s responsibility to set a makeup lesson with the instructor, our support team is here to assist if any issues arise.
Teacher Cancellations
Any lesson canceled by your instructor will be made up. Your instructor will reach out to you directly to schedule the makeup lesson. It is the teacher’s responsibility to set a makeup lesson when they need to reschedule, and our support team is here to assist if any issues arise.
Membership Cancellations
A 30-day notice is required for all membership cancelations. To cancel your membership, you must send an email to support@boldmusiclessons.com to start your 30-day notice.
Blackout Weeks & Monthly Billing
To account for popular travel periods, no lessons will be offered during 4 blackout weeks during the year. These blackout weeks will occur as follows (see specific dates here):
- Week of July 4th
- Week of Thanksgiving
- Two weeks surrounding Christmas and New Years
*Your monthly tuition is based on 48 weeks, divided evenly into 12 payments, so billing remains the same each month, regardless of how many lessons fall in that month. You do not pay for blackout weeks!
For all other holidays, be sure to communicate with your instructor ahead of time if you would like to cancel/reschedule. Memorial Day and Labor Day qualify for in-home makeups.
Bold Music LLC Liability Release
At no time is a Bold Music instructor to enter the home of a student under 18 years of age without a parent/guardian present. An instructor who enters such a premise has broken his or her instructor contract with Bold Music LLC.
At no time is a Bold Music instructor to enter a home if they are knowingly ill and at no time shall a family allow an instructor to conduct an in-home lesson if the student or any member of the student’s family or household has a fever or is knowingly ill. Bold Music is not responsible or liable for any instructor or student illness.
The behavior of an instructor, including any damages to a client’s person or property is solely the responsibility of the instructor and not of Bold Music LLC.
Photography/Video Release
I understand that Bold Music management and instructors may take photographs and/or video during lessons, performances and other activities associated with Bold Music LLC. I understand that such photographic images, video, or audio recording of me or my child may be used for commercial and/or promotional purposes, as well as and most importantly, for their own instruction. If I do not want photos or videos of me/the student(s) to be used or taken, I will reach out to Bold Music Management and request a photo/video OPT OUT release.
