Originally from the Dominican Republic, Cesar has had a love for music since childhood. He first started taking guitar lessons, then piano lessons, and finally decided to stick with voice as his main instrument. After moving to the United States, he obtained a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education K12 & Music Performance with a vocal emphasis from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska. He has also completed Orff-Schulwerk Levels 1 & 2.
Since graduating college, Cesar has dedicated his career to teaching. He is a certified music teacher with experience as a public school general music teacher, and he has sung with concert, chamber, and church choirs. In addition, he has worked as a conductor for choirs, an Orff ensemble, and a handbells ensemble.
Cesar believes in a student-centered approach to education and believes that all students can improve their musicianship through consistent practice and effort. He is excited to work with voice and piano students of all backgrounds to help them achieve their musical goals.
