Victor’s journey in music began when he started violin at the age of 5, and since then, his fondness and love of music continued to grow. He continued to develop his musical talent as a violinist until he entered college, where he hoped to expand his knowledge of music in a much different way. Although he started playing fingerstyle guitar at 16, Victor decided to pursue a degree in Guitar Performance at Appalachian State University.
While at Appalachian State University, Victor studied classical guitar under Dr. Douglas James, and had the opportunity to receive masterclasses from two accomplished guitarists Denis Azabagić and Piero Viti. Although Victor pursued a degree in Guitar Performance, he continued to win the Concerto Aria Competition at Appalachian State University on violin, giving him a solo position with the Appalachian Symphony Orchestra.
Victor specializes in classical and fingerstyle guitar lessons and classical violin, although he is also comfortable with teaching multiple styles of music. The ultimate goal of his teaching is to inspire and help his students express themselves through music, while simultaneously improving their musicality and technique.
