Kevin is a talented multi-instrumentalist who has been playing a variety of instruments including guitar, drums, bass and piano since age 8. He has been playing guitar for over 10 years and holds a dual degree in Music Production and Engineering and Music Business from Berklee College of Music in Boston. During his time at Berklee, Kevin became well versed in music theory, music performance, sound recording, music production, and gained an in-depth understanding of how the music industry functions. He serves primarily as a lead guitarist and studio musician who specializes in rock, jazz, pop, metal, and r&b.
Kevin is inspired by seeing his students learn and grow. His teaching focuses not only on technique and theory, but becoming a well rounded musician. He gets students playing right away and tailors his lesson plans to students’ goals and aspirations.
Aside from being an instrumentalist and teacher, Kevin is a skilled recording engineer with experience in producing, mixing, and mastering music recordings. He currently spends his free time writing, recording, producing, and mixing music for himself and bands and artists in the Lake Norman and Charlotte areas.
