Miski Zuniga-Carrera is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Choral Music Education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has been singing her whole life and has been classically trained in voice since the age of 14. She is a fluent Spanish speaker and also teaches beginning piano.

Carrera volunteers to assist the Greensboro Youth Choir’s director in teaching the three levels of choir offered in the program. She thoroughly enjoys working with each age group, from age 8 to age 18.

Additionally, Carrera has 7 years of experience performing in choral ensembles and solo vocal work in churches as well as in educational settings. After her undergraduate career, Carrera hopes to teach choral music at the middle school level as well as continue to teach both private voice and piano lessons. She also plans to continue her education at the Masters level in vocal performance.
